Making A Difference of Northwest Ohio, Inc honors the voices, practices, language, and experiences of ethnically and culturally diverse people. Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is used to help individuals cope with mental illness and emotional difficulties. Making A Difference of Northwest Ohio, Inc’ licensed providers work with clients to eliminate and/or control troubling symptoms to increase functionality, well-being, and healing. Psychotherapy is also used to educate clients about their mental health problems and assist them in understanding their symptoms.

Mental Health Day Treatment
Mental Health Day Treatment is an intensive, structured, goal-oriented, distinct, and identifiable treatment service that utilizes structured mental health interventions to address the individualized mental health needs of the client. Making A Difference of Northwest Ohio, Inc providers utilize therapeutic services to address the mindset and to support positive growth in our clients. This service also helps the client with social skills development such as anger management, conflict resolution, problem solving, self-esteem issues, impulse control, and behavioral management. The program runs minimally for three hours each day, four days a week. Our services are designed to strengthen individual and family functioning.
Mental Health Day Treatment services are available Monday through Thursday (9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. and 3:00 P.M. to 6:01 P.M.)

Community Psychiatric Support & Treatment (CPST)
CPST is goal-directed support and solution-focused interventions intended to achieve identified goals or objectives outlined in an individual’s recovery plan. These services are offered in the community. The services are provided in an effort to develop skills necessary to stay healthy and cope with behavioral health or emotional problems.
Making A Difference of Northwest Ohio, Inc’ providers deliver CPST services to our clients that align with the goals and objectives of their individual treatment plan, such as crisis prevention, linkage to community services, advocacy, outreach, and care coordination.
This service is also a collaborative process of evaluations and advocacy for resources and services to meet an individual's or family's comprehensive health needs. At Making A Difference of Northwest Ohio, Inc case management involves the creation and execution of individualized service plans that cater to the unique needs of our clients. Our case managers work with a Licensed Independent Social Workers (LISW) to provide holistic support.
